Bush Sounds

The bush has its own sound whether it be song birds or a rushing stream or frogs calling.  Here we have gathered some of our own sounds.  Enjoy the sound of the bush.

The banksias flower in autumn which bring out the birds.  Noisy friar birds, lorikeets and many others call forming a cacophony.

The rain finally came in December 2020 and the frogs went wild after the wetland filled and overflowed. 

Listen in on their party.

The whip bird is a shy bird often difficult to see as it dashes through the undergrowth in the forest but its distinct call from the male sounds like a whip crack with a follow up call from the female.
